Trajectory Parameters (2)

Air density and humidity have quite an influence on the trajectory too.

The Spin/Curve slider sets the extent to which the side spin will cause the ball to curve (Fade/Draw/Hook/Slice) and the Spin Induction value sets the spin rate factor. i.e. the amount of ball spin induced on impact with the club head face.

To see to what extent ball spin rates have upon the trajectory you can experiment with user defined spin rates.

In computer game mode (i.e. not using a sensor mat and clubs) you can setup your swing characteristics using the slide bars to control fade, draw, ball launch angle and velocity, path and spin rates. A refreshingly different approach to the usual golf computer game that just uses your mouse movement skills and abilities. Here the essence is on your understanding of the physics of the game which you can develop and take out on to the course.

To start the swing in game mode you simply pull the club head image back in the swing box with the mouse. The further back you pull, the higher the striking velocity while moving left or right determines the swing path. Use the mouse wheel to set the club face angle for draws, fades, hooks or slices.
